Ballard Spahr represented Communications Systems, Inc. (NASDAQ: JCS) in connection with the sale of its Transition Networks and Net2Edge businesses to Lantronix, Inc. (NASDAQ: LTRX) for $25 million in cash, with an earn-out of up to $7 million based on future revenues. Based in Minnetonka, Minnesota, Communications Systems, Inc. traditionally has operated as an IoT intelligent edge products and services company.
