Ballard Spahr's Jessica Swanson Named an ACG Minnesota Rising Star

Jessica Swanson, a Mergers and Acquisitions associate in Ballard Spahr’s Minneapolis office, has been named a Rising Star by the Association for Corporate Growth (ACG)’s Minnesota chapter.

ACG’s Rising Stars program is dedicated to early-career mergers and acquisitions professionals who demonstrate high potential and a commitment to growth. It connects a diverse group of professionals across the mergers and acquisitions landscape, including investment bankers, private equity investors, attorneys, capital providers, and other key industry partners. As a member of the 2025 class of Rising Stars, Jessica will participate in skill-building and educational sessions designed to help participants expand and refine their skills.

Jessica represents private companies and private equity funds in mergers, acquisitions, sales, and other strategic business transactions. She has experience across a variety of industries, including manufacturing, retail and professional services. Prior to joining Ballard Spahr, she served as a law clerk in the Civil Division of the Minneapolis City Attorney’s Office.

Her inclusion in the Rising Stars program is the latest accolade for Ballard Spahr’s Mergers and Acquisitions attorneys, with the team overall earning a Tier One national ranking in Best Law Firms’ 2025 rankings.
