Jessica Swanson

Jessica Swanson is an associate in the firm’s Business and Transactions Department, focusing on mergers and acquisitions. She has managed nearly 20 M&A transactions, mostly in the multi-unit retail, restaurant, and hospitality industries, ranging from $5 million to $100 million. Jessica also has experience drafting, reviewing, and negotiating corporate transactional documents, including merger agreements, asset and stock purchase agreements, credit agreements, security agreements, warrants, letters of intent, confidentiality agreements, operating agreements, shareholder agreements, redemption agreements, disclosure schedules, and other ancillary documents for both sell-side and buy-side.

Prior to her role at Ballard Spahr, Jessica served as a law clerk in the Civil Division of the Minneapolis City Attorney’s Office.
