Intellectual Property Attorney Andrea Stone Rejoins Ballard Spahr in Phoenix

Andrea Stone—an intellectual property attorney with experience in complex commercial litigation, commercial contracting, privacy and data security, and regulatory compliance matters—has rejoined Ballard Spahr’s Intellectual Property Department and Intellectual Property Litigation Group as of counsel, firm Chair Peter Michaud announced today. Andrea is resident in the firm’s Phoenix office.

“Andrea is a superb intellectual property attorney,” said Phoenix Intellectual Property Partner Brian W. LaCorte. “She is a marvelous writer and advocate, and her clients love her. I’m thrilled that she’s joining our team and that we will have her additional firepower as we support clients throughout the country.”

Andrea and Brian joined Ballard Spahr together in 2011, growing the firm’s intellectual property litigation capability into the Southwest. Andrea has rejoined Ballard Spahr from Vitalant, a national life sciences nonprofit, where she served as associate general counsel. At Ballard Spahr, she will work on high-profile patent and trademark matters, as well as issues pertaining to privacy and data security, for clients in industries including energy, health care, and life sciences.
