Accomplished Litigator Abran Vigil Rejoins Ballard Spahr in Las Vegas

Abran Vigil, a business litigator and counselor with extensive in-house and private practice experience, has returned to Ballard Spahr as a partner in the Litigation Department, based in the firm’s Las Vegas office, firm Chair Peter V. Michaud announced today.

Abe previously practiced at Ballard Spahr from 2010 to 2021. His return to the Las Vegas office deepens Ballard Spahr’s capabilities in the West in key areas of commercial litigation. Abe focuses on litigation involving real estate, banking and financial services, governance, and business transactions such as mergers and acquisitions. His expanded practice emphasizes regulatory proceedings and administrative litigation, including gaming, attorney general actions, crisis management, trade practice disputes, and business torts.

In addition to more than 20 years of experience in private practice, Abe recently served more than three years as chief legal officer and general counsel of a major business management consulting firm that provides strategic services to companies in a variety of industries, including financial services, construction, hospitality, gaming, food service, and media. This wide-ranging background enables Abe to provide businesses with strategic advocacy and counsel tailored to their specific priorities and goals through every stage, from deal planning to disputes and other matters.
