Ballard Spahr Represents Boathouse Capital in Stravos Education Growth Investment

Ballard Spahr served as counsel to Boathouse Capital for the structured capital fund’s recent growth investment in Stravos Education LLC, an educational holding company with a portfolio of firms throughout the United States and the U.K.

Based in Wayne, Pennsylvania, Boathouse Capital focuses on providing bespoke capital solutions to high-growth and later-stage companies in software (SaaS), tech-enabled services, and health care IT services. Boathouse Capital recently announced the transaction to provide a $15 million growth investment to Sacramento-based Stravos Education, which operates a portfolio of U.S. and U.K. academic preparedness services firms.

Ballard Spahr Partners Maulin Vidwans and Ryan J. Udell represented Boathouse Capital in negotiating, documenting, and closing the transaction.
