Ballard Spahr's Peg Brivanlou Named a Finalist for Prestigious Life Sciences Award

Margaret “Peg” Bolce Brivanlou, PhD., an Intellectual Property partner in Ballard Spahr’s New York City office, has been named a finalist for Patent Strategy Attorney of the Year for New York by LMG Life Sciences, a highly respected legal ranking directory for the life sciences industry.
Dr. Brivanlou is a member of Ballard Spahr’s Intellectual Property Department and its Life Sciences and Technology Group, as well as the firm’s Patents practice. She is a licensed patent attorney and experienced IP counselor who represents biotechnology and pharmaceutical companies and institutions in the full range of patent matters, including patent prosecution and portfolio development and management. She also advises investment funds and other clients on the intellectual property aspects of transactions, including licensing and transfer of technology and other assets and interparty matters. With a doctorate in molecular biology, Dr. Brivanlou’s practice focuses on biologics and small molecule therapeutics.
