Jacey Skinner, who is Of Counsel in the Government Relations and Public Policy Group of Ballard Spahr, has been named to the Board of Trustees of Utah State University, from which she received her undergraduate degree. Her tenure begins July 1.
"I'm grateful to the Governor and the Utah Senate for the honor of the opportunity to serve on the Utah State University Board of Trustees," said Ms. Skinner. "It's been my pleasure to work with Utah's elected representatives and policy makers on so many important issues, and I’m pleased to have the opportunity to work with my alma mater to help advance its mission of educating our leaders of tomorrow."
The Board of Trustees consists of nine people appointed by the Governor to four-year terms and two ex-officio members who are the president of the University's Alumni Association and the president of the student body of the University.
"Jacey has made working with public servants a central facet of her career, and we're proud to see her continue her work for the people of Utah," said Mark R. Gaylord, Office Managing Partner for Ballard Spahr's Salt Lake City office.
