He has years of experience leading global and U.S. legal industry marketing and business development teams.
Ian develops proactive, client-first strategies to grow relationships across industry sectors by implementing coaching programs and client management frameworks, conducting market analysis, and identifying opportunities for both internal and external growth. He works with firm and practice leadership while motivating the marketing and business development team to collaborate across practices to achieve the firm’s goals.
Prior to joining Ballard Spahr, Ian held various U.S. and global leadership roles for an Am Law 15 firm, where he executed integrated marketing campaigns to grow firm revenue, enhance client satisfaction, and increase market awareness.
