Andrew Yates is an experienced trial lawyer and co-leads the firm's Transportation and Logistics team. He has tried numerous cases to verdict in state and federal courts, and is often admitted pro hac vice in jurisdictions around the country.
Transportation Industry Litigation Experience
Andrew handles a wide variety of litigated matters for clients in the transportation industry. He often represents several of the nation's largest freight and passenger railroads in Federal Employers' Liability Act, Federal Railroad Safety Act, and tort claims involving derailments, grade crossing collisions, premises liability, and other incidents. He also represents aviation and aerospace clients in commercial and catastrophic loss cases, including manufacturer/supplier disputes, aircraft delivery delay and loss of use claims, and personal injury and property damage cases arising out of general aviation mishaps.
