Matthew Stoloff focuses on complex litigation matters, including mass torts in the railroad industry, insurance coverage disputes and bad faith matters, and construction defects. He also has worked in the areas of employment law, medical malpractice, and special education.
With more than 15 years of experience, Matthew represents companies in hotly contested issues with millions at stake. Matthew has reviewed hundreds of thousands of pages of medical records, employment records, correspondence, and expert reports. He is regularly involved in motion practice and frequently is asked to draft and revise briefs to compel discovery, for protective orders, and for summary judgment. His written arguments have persuaded the courts to grant summary judgment or substantially limit the number and/or scope of the issues for trial. Additionally, his mediation submissions have helped parties reach favorable, confidential settlements.
