Bill is an associate in Ballard Spahr's Real Estate Department, focusing his practice on tax issues impacting real estate developers and investors. His experience includes representing real estate developers and investors in tax credit finance transactions, fund formations and capital raises, and real estate acquisition and disposition transactions. In conjunction therewith, his experience includes coordinating and facilitating transaction closings, drafting and negotiating governance documents, and advising on a variety tax structures for real estate development projects and real estate acquisitions and dispositions. Bill has also facilitated opportunity zone investments and capitalizations from conception to close by advising clients on opportunity zone rules and transaction structures, drafting applicable transaction documents, and facilitating transaction closings.
