
Kristen Broz is an experienced litigator and legal counselor who represents clients across the United States, in federal and state courts and before government agencies, with an emphasis on antitrust, consumer protection, and class action matters. Kristen has represented clients in appeals and amicus filings before the U.S. Courts of Appeals for the Second Circuit and Federal Circuit, as well as the U.S. Supreme Court.
Kristen’s clients span multiple industries, including technology, gaming, health care, construction, payment card, and real estate. Kristen routinely represents clients in DOJ, FTC, and state attorneys general investigations regarding antitrust and consumer protection issues and defends clients in administrative and federal court proceedings brought by government entities and private parties. She also represents government contractors in litigation before the U.S. Court of Federal Claims and Boards of Contract Appeals involving major construction and technology contracts. She works closely with clients and the government to investigate, negotiate, and resolve civil and criminal issues to avoid litigation or prosecution.

- Secured early dismissal of trademark infringement lawsuit against international client and secured lift of temporary restraining order
- Represented government contractor in multimillion-dollar action in the Eastern District of Virginia alleging violations of the Lanham Act

Kristen has provided pro bono legal services through the public defender’s office for the Eastern District of Virginia. She also participates in pro bono efforts in her capacity as a board member of Children’s Law Center and Wildlife SOS.
