Denver Attorney Spearheads New Distressed Office Buildings Team as Tenant Vacancies Mount

Alicia B. Clark spoke to the Denver Business Journal about the launch of Ballard Spahr's Distressed Office Buildings team, which she co-leads alongside Jeffrey S. Page.

Ms. Clark said owners of office buildings are facing a crush of negative market conditions, from rising vacancies and operating costs to constrained capital.

"The decrease in tenant demand and increase in office vacancy, I think, is the single most important factor that is creating the current climate," she said.

Ms. Clark, who is based in Denver, is a partner in the firm's national Finance Department.
