When The Arizona Republic's state politics reporter wanted to provide readers with a comprehensive assessment of where former gubernatorial candidate Kari Lake's challenge to the 2022 election stands, she spoke to Mark S. Kokanovich for insight. The Arizona Supreme Court has rejected six out of Ms. Lake's seven claims, leaving only one left standing.
"The Maricopa County Recorder's Office will also be able to put on evidence about how they did follow the policies," he said. "We'll see what the evidence says, but coming up with the number of votes to actually impact the governor's race strains credulity at this point."
