As reported by the Washington Post, Ballard Spahr and nonprofit ethics watchdog group American Oversight recently filed suit seeking records related to a "tip line" set up by Virginia's governor so parents can report school employees who teach "divisive subjects."
“What is the tip line’s true purpose and how has the Administration acted on these ‘tips’?” Heather Sawyer, executive director of American Oversight, said in a statement. “What is it about this program that they don’t want the public to see?”
Chad R. Bowman, Alia L. Smith and Jacob M. Schriner-Briggs are involved in the case. All are members of Ballard Spahr's Litigation Department and Media and Entertainment Law Group.
