Attorneys from Ballard Spahr’s Mergers and Acquisitions Group advised Denver-based Ross Aviation, a premier owner and operator of full-service fixed-base operations (FBOs), in its recent acquisition of Stuart Jet Center in Stuart, Florida.
Ross Aviation’s new location is a key addition to the company’s growing presence on the East Coast and expands its footprint in Florida with the addition of a perennial top finisher in annual surveys of FBOs. Stuart Jet Center is well known not only for safety and exemplary service, but also for its significant 15-acre ramp and 371,000 square feet of hangar space, including space for large cabin aircraft.
Ross Aviation owns and operates a guest-centric, continental portfolio of 19 FBOs that tailors services to client needs.
The Ballard Spahr team for the transaction was led Carin M. Cutler, an M&A partner based in the firm’s Denver and Boulder offices, and included Senior Counsel Edward J. Wegerson, Partner Jonathan R. Flora, and Associate Kelly L. Herrmann.
