Ballard Spahr Recognized in BTI Most Recommended Law Firms 2021 Report

Ballard Spahr is recognized in the recently released BTI Most Recommended Law Firms 2021 report gleaned from a survey of general counsel and other top legal decision makers at large companies across the country.

The firm is recommended as counsel to corporate clients based on its exceptional client service, legal prowess, and value provided, according to the report, subtitled “The Firms Top Legal Decision Makers Recommend Above All Others.” To assemble the report, BTI Consulting, a leading provider of strategic research to law firms and general counsel, conducted more than 350 in-depth interviews between April 2020 and June 2021 with legal decision makers at large organizations. Surveyed businesses generate at least $700 million in annual revenue and range up to the world’s largest companies, covering more than 15 industry sectors, from banking and consumer goods to manufacturing, retail, and telecom.

The report notes that the responses were “unprompted;” BTI asked corporate counsel the open-ended question, “Which law firm do you recommend to your peers?” BTI found that superior client service is consistently the leading driver of law firm recommendations by general counsel.
