Ben Vernon is an associate in the firm’s Finance Department, focusing his practice on public finance matters. Ben represents cities, counties, school districts, governmental authorities, 501(c)(3) entities, investment banks and private companies on a variety of tax-exempt and taxable debt financings.
He regularly serves as bond counsel, disclosure counsel, underwriter’s counsel and special tax counsel on governmental bond issues for public infrastructure, higher education, multi-family and affordable housing, and public-private partnership projects. Ben also has extensive experience advising local governments on economic development projects, private incentives and community benefits packages.
