William Alden McDaniel, Jr. has more than 35 years of experience trying cases in federal and state courts and handling appeals in jurisdictions throughout the country. Many of his cases have involved challenging issues of first impression, and almost all involve high stakes and a difficult fight.
Bill has participated in large class action cases, corporate investigations, and other complex civil matters, including corporate disputes, derivative actions, product liability, professional malpractice, and defamation cases. He also represents clients in complex criminal matters, including targets and witnesses before federal and state grand juries. He has successfully handled all manner of disputes before grand juries and in criminal and civil trials, including internet libel, murder, cases involving constitutional issues, mass tort claims, class actions, representation of national political figures, and representation of large law firms in malpractice actions.
