Cathyann Bixby

Cathyann maintains strong relationships with recruiters across the country to consistently promote Ballard Spahr and its growth objectives and serves a point for inquiries from both candidates and recruiters.

Before joining Ballard Spahr, Cathyann spent nearly 11 years as the practice group director for the litigation department of a global law firm, where she advised department chairs and practice group leaders, managed more than 250 litigation associates and over 300 contract attorneys across 11 locations worldwide, developed training programs, led leadership meetings, recruited attorneys, and prepared and managed budgets.

For almost 13 years, Cathyann worked as a Senior Creditor Rights and Corporate Paralegal Manager with the U.S. Department of Commerce (formerly the U.S. Corporate Department), where she was responsible for policy and management of more than 75 U.S. and European paralegals.
