Parisa Zarelli assists businesses with wide-ranging privacy and corporate matters.
As a certified information privacy professional (CIPP/US), Parisa has extensive knowledge of state and federal privacy laws, including the California Consumer Privacy Act. A significant part of Parisa's practice includes drafting consumer-facing policies and terms that comply with rapidly evolving data privacy legislation across the nation. She also counsels her clients on complex data privacy and security issues relating to state data breach notification requirements, online marketing, vendor agreements, and other transactional documents.
Parisa's data privacy experience complements her corporate practice, where she advises clients on entity formation, mergers and acquisitions, commercial contracts, and health care transactions. She also has experience assisting nonprofit organizations in obtaining tax-exempt status and establishing approved governance. Drawing on her comprehensive legal experience, Parisa provides proactive and pragmatic legal counsel across all aspects of her practice to advocate for the rights of clients.
