Kathryn Wendt assists clients with all aspects of their business and commercial litigation needs. She provides advice and counsel to corporate clients on a variety of matters, including complex commercial litigation, employment disputes, securities litigation, antitrust claims, insurance coverage issues, and real estate and construction disputes. Kathryn has experience assisting clients at every step of litigation, including pre-suit counseling, initial pleadings, complex E-Discovery, mediation, motion practice, trial, and appeal. She works hard to shape effective litigation strategies to ensure the best results for her clients.
During law school, Kathryn worked for the Office of the General Counsel for the University of Minnesota. She was also a Student Director for the National Moot Court team. In her legal practice, Kathryn devotes significant time to pro bono work in partnership with Volunteer Lawyers Network and the ACLU-Minnesota. She was named a North Star lawyer in 2017 and 2020 for her commitment to pro bono projects.

Representative Matters
- Handled Minnesota-based real estate disputes involving leases, easements, and other agreements for one of the world’s largest telecommunications companies.
- Successfully represented the owner of a professional sports team from claims brought by a former player in an international sports arbitration. Client prevailed with zero liability and no damages awarded to claimant.
- Assisted with putative TCPA class action against one of the nation’s largest banks. Client prevailed on its motion to deny class certification, which was affirmed by the Ninth Circuit.
