Michele Solari is a New York labor and employment attorney. Michele represents businesses on a range of employment and litigation matters including discrimination, harassment, wage and hour, protected leave, and accommodation requests. She also provides practical business solutions by counseling clients on matters related to policies and handbooks, wage and hour compliance, workplace investigations, and employee relations. As a veteran of both the private and public legal sectors, Michele is experienced in all phases of litigation and has handled cases at administrative and agency levels, as well as in federal, state, and appellate courts.
Prior to joining Ballard Spahr, Michele worked at a top-ranked Chambers USA law firm, where she handled employer-side labor and employment matters. Michele also worked as a Deputy Attorney General in the litigation section at the New Jersey Office of the Attorney General, where she represented the state, its agencies, and its employees in labor and employment and civil rights litigation matters in federal and state courts. Following her graduation from law school, Michele completed a judicial clerkship with the Honorable Diane Pincus, J.S.C. (ret.) in the Superior Court of New Jersey.
