Elizabeth Schilken has litigated a variety of intellectual property disputes, focusing on claims of copyright infringement, trademark infringement and breach of implied-in-fact contract (idea submission). She also has extensive experience litigating matters of misappropriation of name and likeness/right of publicity, defamation, unfair competition, breach of confidence, breach of fiduciary duty, and interference with contract. Prior to becoming a lawyer, she worked as a newspaper reporter and editor.

- Obtained dismissal of right of publicity and related claims against Local TV, LLC and Local TV Finance, LLC involving use of video broadcast segments featuring former technology reporter at KTLA.
- Defended General Motors LLC against copyright infringement and 17 U.S.C. §1202 claims involving photograph of mural.
