Pooja Patel

Pooja Patel focuses on real estate development and transactions, including property acquisitions, leases, and financing. While attending law school, Pooja interned with Ballard Spahr as a summer associate for two summers, where she contributed to corporate and real estate matters, including review of transactional and corporate governance documents, assisting with drafting loan documents, and assisting on pro bono matters such as achieving nonprofit status for an organization and drafting a contract for a pro bono client. She also contributed to research for litigation matters.

Pooja gained additional legal experience as a judicial extern for the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania, where she drafted opinions and observed legal proceedings brought before the court. Additionally, as a law extern for a Philadelphia law firm, she supported clients with legal issues such as adverse possession, and contributed to drafting and reviewing essential deal documents. Pooja also gained further legal experience as a legal intern at a bank.
