Diane Markert focuses on real estate with an emphasis on transactional finance and leasing in the Nevada commercial real estate industry. Diane represents local and national retail developers, dining and gaming establishments, and hotels and resorts in acquisitions, leasing, lending, workouts, and bankruptcy- and restructuring-related matters.
Her experience includes serving as interim general counsel for a $4 billion Las Vegas casino resort development project, negotiating commercial retail, office, and restaurant leases for both landlord and tenant clients, including leases for national restaurant chains and for an approximately $2 billion Las Vegas casino resort, and negotiating asset purchase agreements and stock purchase agreements, including for an approximately $13 million Las Vegas hotel casino.
