Loran Kilson is an associate in the firm’s Business and Transactions Department, focusing on consumer financial services matters. She has experience working on fair lending and mortgage issues, advising on banking and bank partnership issues, and drafting policies and procedures regarding compliance management. She regularly addresses issues involving licensing, advertising and marketing, credit reporting, disclosure, pricing, substantive terms, servicing, and e-commerce issues.
Prior to her role at Ballard Spahr, Loran served as Senior Regulatory Compliance Counsel at the National Association of Federally-insured Credit Unions (NAFCU), where she provided compliance and legal assistance for federal consumer financial regulations.
