Ricardo E. Johnson III

Ricardo Johnson III is an associate in the firm’s Business and Transactions Department, focusing on mergers and acquisitions matters. He has experience drafting and updating ancillary documents to purchase agreements, including disclosure schedules, closing checklists, and bills of sale.

Prior to his role at Ballard Spahr, Ricardo worked at Norwest Equity Partners, a private equity firm in Minneapolis, where he reviewed and negotiated NDAs on behalf of the firm and drafted profits interest plans and board actions for its portfolio companies. Before attending law school, Ricardo was a legal intern for the Minnesota Vikings where he reviewed their legal operations including contract formulation and mitigation of liability.
