Thomas W. Hazlett is a litigator who focuses on commercial disputes, antitrust, intellectual property, and breach of fiduciary duty claims. He is Practice Leader of the firm's eDiscovery and Data Management Group.
Tom has litigated numerous motions for injunctive relief, tried cases to verdict before judges and juries, and handled appeals in state and federal courts. His clients include leading companies in the life sciences and financial services sectors. He has resolved disputes with other companies or individuals, including an international, commercial-stage oncology company, an international molecular diagnostic company, and several national banks. He also has represented banks and others in fiduciary litigation, in which claims were asserted against the client based on its role as a trustee or personal representative of an estate. He served as lead trial counsel for a national bank in breach of fiduciary duty and breach of contract bench trials alleging millions of dollars in damages.
