Alexander Gee is an associate in the firm’s Intellectual Property Department, focusing his practice on patent matters. He co-leads Ballard Spahr's Black Lawyers Group. Alexander has extensive experience working with the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office, where he achieved negotiation authority, conducted applicant interviews, researched and reviewed patent applications to determine the patentability of the claimed subject matter, and negotiated with applicants to produce hundreds allowances.
Prior to his legal career, Alexander worked as a systems engineer for a large aerospace and defense technology company. He facilitated the research and development, and the testing of critical spacecraft components.
