
Thomas J. Gallagher IV practices complex commercial litigation with experience in antitrust, civil RICO, breach of contract, fraud, business tort, consumer class action, bankruptcy, and legal malpractice disputes. He also is a member of the firm's Antitrust and Competition Group and Commercial Litigation and Dispute Resolution Group.
Tom represents clients in high-stakes litigations and time-sensitive injunctions. He has successfully defended public and private companies in federal and state lawsuits, including class actions and injunctions. He has also represented several companies as plaintiffs in business disputes involving claims of breach of contract, fraud, and anti-competitive conduct. Tom has represented companies in a wide range of industries, including life sciences, financial services, health care, private equity, and transportation and logistics.
Tom has managed eDiscovery teams in cases involving commercial disputes, class actions, and civil RICO actions.

- Representing a lender that issued $7.1 billion in Paycheck Protection Program (PPP) loans in a nationwide breach-of-contract class-action regarding the disbursement of PPP loans
- Represented a pharmaceutical company in a civil action alleging fraud and RICO claims related to manufacturing practices at one of the company's former manufacturing facilities
- Represents multiple municipalities and water utilities as plaintiffs in actions claiming that defendants engaged in anticompetitive conduct in connection with the sale of aluminum sulfate, a water treatment chemical
