Ray has handled virtually all aspects of business, including: mergers and acquisitions; corporate finance and securities matters; loan transactions; corporate governance issues; leasing, buying, and selling strategic assets; contract negotiation; manufacturing; distribution; and licensing. Ray has developed processes that streamline common pursuits, such as raising capital for startup companies and strategic transactions, so he can represent clients efficiently.

  • Assisted various renewable energy project owners and off-takers in the negotiation of power purchase agreements, including many corporate PPAs with off-takers such as McDonald's, Walmart, Target, Ingersoll-Rand, and T-Mobile
  • Assisted various wind and solar energy clients in project sales in recent years to DE Shaw, NextEra, sPower, EDF, Pattern, Algonquin, Alterra, ACCIONA, Xcel, Westar, and others, for projects totaling in excess of 1,800 MWs
  • Assisted various wind and solar energy clients in project financing transactions, including sale-lease back transactions
