John Devlin is a seasoned trial lawyer and legal advocate. He has tried more than 30 bench and jury trials in state and federal court, and represented clients in arbitrations governed by the UNCITRAL Arbitration Rules, the International Centre for Dispute Resolution of the American Arbitration Association, and in the London Court of International Arbitration.
As chair of the firm’s International Arbitration Team, John has represented clients in numerous institutional and ad hoc arbitrations. He has arbitrated international disputes, across a range of sectors, involving both commercial and public international law issues. His arbitrations have involved French, German, British, Brazilian, and Canadian entities. John’s practice embraces alternative dispute resolution, international arbitration, and both domestic and multi-jurisdictional litigation.
