Habiba Cheema is a Philadelphia litigation associate who focuses her practice on antitrust and competition matters. Prior to joining the firm full-time, Habiba worked as a summer associate at Ballard Spahr, where she researched and drafted memoranda on issues involving statute of limitations and supervisor negligence claims. She gained in-house counseling experience in this role by working directly with a client.
While attending law school, Habiba was a judicial intern for the Honorable Juan Sanchez in the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania. In this position, she attended suppression hearings, sentencing and resentencing hearings, and pre-trial settlement agreements. Habiba also gained experience as a teaching assistant for sections of Constitutional Law and Introduction to Trial Advocacy.
