Sophie Bradford is a Finance associate who focuses her practice on housing finance matters. Prior to joining Ballard Spahr, she worked at a Washington, D.C., law firm focusing on real estate matters. In this role, Sophie drafted commercial lease agreements for retail and restaurant spaces, drafted commercial purchase and sale agreements, prepared closing documents for asset purchase transactions, assisted in District of Columbia real property tax assessment appeals, appeared before the zoning boards in the District of Columbia and Montgomery County, MD, and assisted with landlord-tenant disputes.
Sophie previously served as a legal intern in the Office of the Attorney General for the District of Columbia as well as in the general counsel office of New Leaders.
