
Brianne Boyle focuses her practice on real estate finance, primarily on multifamily and government-sponsored enterprise (GSE) financing. Brianne represents lenders of Fannie Mae’s Delegated Underwriting and Servicing (DUS) product line and Freddie Mac’s Capital Markets Execution (CME) program in financing of all types of conventional and affordable housing properties, including seniors housing, student housing, manufactured housing, and mixed-use properties.
Brianne is experienced with financings involving ground leases, tax abatements/exemptions, PILOT agreements, and rent restriction agreements. She has experience with large single family portfolio transactions.
Before joining Ballard Spahr, Brianne represented corporate debtors, creditors' committees, and lenders in Chapter 11 cases. She prepared pleadings, assessed corporate documents and structure, and assisted in negotiating and drafting term sheets and plans of reorganization. During law school, Brianne worked as a student attorney in the University of Baltimore School of Law Community Development Clinic. In that role, she represented nonprofit and community advocacy group clients in structuring, formation, and tax-exemption matters.
