Jeffrey S. Ballard regularly acts as counsel to lenders, borrowers, credit enhancers, issuers, and underwriters in the structuring and negotiation of complex taxable and tax-exempt financings. His finance experience spans nearly two decades and encompasses a broad range of industries and projects, including manufacturing, educational, health care, housing, water resource, transportation, hotel, cultural, and general commercial facilities
Jeff also has substantial securitization experience involving auto receivables, municipal bonds, commercial mortgages and leases, home improvement loans, and mutual fund fees. His practice includes significant work with interest rate swaps, caps, and other derivative products in both the primary and secondary markets. Jeff handles debt restructurings and workouts. He has also served as bond counsel on hundreds of financings for public entities.
