Judge Orders White House to Allow AP Access to News Events

Charles D. Tobin led the team of Maxwell S. Mishkin, Sasha Dudding, and Jay Ward Brown to win a court order restoring the AP to the White House press pool. The news agency’s reporters and photographers had been banned since February. But a federal judge has now ordered that the AP cannot be excluded for continuing to use the name “Gulf of Mexico” in its journalism.
