Legaltech Rundown: Ballard Spahr Unveils Gen AI Tools and More

Legaltech News included Ballard Spahr's newly launched custom suite of generative artificial intelligence (AI) tools in its weekly update, The Legaltech Rundown.

The suite includes a chatbot named Ask Ellis developed with OpenAI models and hosted locally, which includes chat, drafting, and analysis functions. The suite will also include Ballard X-Ray and Know Your Client. X-Ray is a repository for storing and tagging documents which includes a search function and allows for natural language queries of documents. Know Your Customer combines proprietary client data and external data sources to provide financial metrics on clients.
