Manufacturing Group Urges Sweeping Environmental Deregulation in Letter to Trump

The National Law Journal spoke with Lorene Boudreau—partner at Ballard Spahr and co-leader of the firm's Environmental, Social, and Governance Team—about a letter sent to Trump by the National Association of Manufacturers as well as several dozen chemical and regional manufacturing groups. The letter urged that environmental deregulation will create more jobs.

The NAM is a large and politically powerful industry group, and they will likely have Trump's ear in the Oval Office, said Renie.
