Housing Finance Attorney Juan Pereira Named Leader of Ballard Spahr's Hispanic Business Resource Group

Juan Pereira, a partner in Ballard Spahr’s Housing Finance practice, has been named leader of the firm’s Hispanic Business Resource Group (BRG).

The group is committed to fostering a welcoming, supportive, and educational environment for Ballard Spahr attorneys and business professionals—past, present, and future—as well as clients, and open to all who share its mission of promoting a more inclusive and equitable legal profession.

The mission of the Hispanic BRG is to empower members through professional development, mentorship, and advocacy, while celebrating members’ rich cultural heritage. By building a strong community among current members, alumni, and clients, the group aims to advance diversity, create opportunities, and amplify the voices of the community. The Hispanic BRG supports the firm’s efforts in business development, pro bono work, recruitment, retention, and client relationship-building.

Juan has well over a decade of experience representing lenders and investors in commercial real estate finance transactions, with an emphasis on housing finance transactions involving Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac multifamily loan programs. His clients include some of the nation’s largest and most active commercial real estate finance firms serving as designated Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac lenders and servicers.
