From M&A to Music Fest, Ballard Spahr Attorney Hosts Week-Long Jam Session With Help of Clients

The Legal Intelligencer spoke with Gregory Seltzer, partner at Ballard Spahr and practice leader of the firm's Emerging Companies and Venture Capital team, about Philly Music Fest, founded by Greg and his wife, Jenn, in 2017. They run the festival and the nonprofit organization they founded to present it.

"I started networking in the music and sports industries and began representing venues, festivals, and a few athletes in pure business transactions, not contracts or team signings," said Seltzer. "And I realized very quickly Philadelphia doesn't have a proper music festival like most other major cities and even some second-tier cities."
