Chuck Tobin, Rob Gutierrez Named BTI Client Service All-Stars

Ballard Spahr attorneys Charles D. Tobin and Robert S. Gutierrez have been named 2024 Client Service All-Stars by The BTI Consulting Group.

Mr. Tobin, based in Washington, D.C., leads the firm’s nationally recognized Media and Entertainment Law Group and defends the media in libel and privacy lawsuits in state and federal courts throughout the country. He conducts prepublication content review and advises clients on subpoenas, access, and privilege issues, Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) requests, copyright matters, and First Amendment rights.

Mr. Gutierrez, based in Los Angeles, defends clients across the media and entertainment industries in defamation, privacy, copyright, trademark, and idea submission cases. He also represents content creators in all genres, including works based on real persons and events.

In 2023, Litigation and Intellectual Property Litigation Partner Robert R. Baron, Jr. and Media and Entertainment Law Of Counsel Lynn Oberlander were named Client Service All-Stars.
