William Xiong Named a 2024 Legal Intelligencer Lawyer on the Fast Track

William Xiong, an associate in Ballard Spahr’s national Finance Department, has been named a 2024 Lawyer on the Fast Track by The Legal Intelligencer.

Mr. Xiong focuses his practice on commercial real estate finance matters. He has experience representing an array of market participants and financial institutions in the acquisition, disposition, and financing of commercial real estate across multifamily, office, industrial, hospitality, SFR, infrastructure projects and other asset classes. Mr. Xiong has advised on a wide variety of loan executions, including balance-sheet loans, CMBS, construction lending, bridge lending, syndications, sale-leaseback transactions and repurchase facilities—as well as modifications and workouts of distressed assets. He is a member of the firm’s Real Estate Finance Practice Group and Distressed Assets and Opportunities and Distressed Office Buildings initiatives.

Mr. Xiong follows past Ballard Spahr Lawyers on the Fast Track winners Kimberly W. Klayman (2023), Emilia McKee Vassallo (2022) and Chrissey L. Barba (2020).
