Scott Coleman Named Notable Leader in Banking and Finance by Twin Cities Business

Ballard Spahr Business and Transactions Partner Scott A. Coleman has been named a Notable Leader in Banking and Finance by Twin Cities Business.

Mr. Coleman has spent his three-decade legal career with the firm. Since 1992, he has counseled countless Minnesota-based banks and bank holding companies in matters ranging from mergers and capital-raising to changes in bank control and regulatory matters. In March 2023, he was named co-leader of Ballard Spahr’s Distressed Financial Institutions and Counterparties task force, which monitored developments and provided strategic counsel in the wake of the Silicon Valley Bank failure.
