Insurers Targeted by State Anti-ESG Efforts in Texas and Beyond

In Texas and other traditionally Republican-dominated states across the country, state lawmakers are taking aim at how businesses, including insurance companies, factor ESG into their decisions. 

"At the end of the day, companies have harder decisions to make than they ever have about how much these sort of ESG principles really matter to them," Kahlil C. Williams told a reporter from Bloomberg Law.

Mr. Williams co-leads the firm's ESG Working Group and is a partner in its Litigation Department.
