Michael D. Fabius, a Litigation partner and co-leader of Ballard Spahr’s Gaming team, has received the 2022 Human Relations Award from the American Jewish Committee (AJC) of Philadelphia/Southern New Jersey.
The AJC Human Relations Award is presented annually to an AJC leader in recognition of outstanding community service. Mr. Fabius received the award at an event last night. It recognizes his outstanding efforts as Co-Chair of Circle of Friends, the Philadelphia affiliate of the national Muslim-Jewish Advisory Council (MJAC) comprising local Muslim and Jewish leaders, as well as his pro bono work on behalf of a number of local organizations.
Mr. Fabius is an administrative law attorney with particular experience advising clients in the heavily regulated and quickly expanding gaming, racing, and sports-wagering industries, and in litigating claims in front of administrative agencies. In addition, he has extensive experience as lead regulatory counsel advising clients on compliance for large, multi-jurisdictional transactions requiring notices and approvals from several independent regulatory agencies.
