Ballard Spahr Real Estate Partner Steven P. Mehr Joins Site Ready Utah Advisory Committee

Ballard Spahr Real Estate Partner Steven P. Mehr has joined the advisory committee for Site Ready Utah, an initiative of the Economic Development Corporation of Utah.

The Site Ready Utah program is designed to identify and certify industrial real estate sites across the state. Intended to attract large-scale industrial projects, the sites and associated projects will have substantial direct and secondary impact on surrounding communities, including increased opportunities for rural projects.

As a member, Mr. Mehr will meet regularly with the rest of the advisory committee to review proposed sites and advise staff on accuracy, as well as support staff in finding solutions to site challenges. The advisory committee brings together a network of resources to assist in the coordination of site development with communities, the properties, and the landowners.

In his national, broad-based real estate practice, Mr. Mehr focuses on the land use, development, leasing, and financing of commercial, retail, industrial, and resort properties. He concentrates on acquisitions, dispositions, construction, zoning, and entitlements.
