Ballard Spahr Represents DaVinci in $20 Million Acquisition by Cannabis-Products Distributor Greenlane Holdings

Ballard Spahr represented DaVinci, a leading developer and manufacturer of portable vaporizers, in its $20 million acquisition by Greenlane Holdings, Inc. (NASDAQ: GNLN), a premier distributor of ancillary cannabis products. The deal is expected to close in the fourth quarter of 2021.

Founded in 2011, DaVinci develops premium vaporizers for oil and herb cannabis products. Founded in 2005, Greenlane Holdings develops and distributes premium cannabis accessories and lifestyle products to more than 11,000 retail locations across North America and Europe.

Business and Transactions Partner Robert C. Kim led the Ballard Spahr team that represented DaVinci. He is a member of the firm’s Cannabis Team.
